Viva en Mexico...

Hola, I'm in Mexico (Piedras Negras). I'm only here until Monday morning.

I'm sitting in our patient room in the hospital. They gave us the Presidential Suite. I feel like royalty :)

William is having Sleeve Gastroectomy surgery (Gastric Sleeve) surgery in about a couple of hours. Yes I know it's in Mexico....but we've done our research and this one was highly suggested/recommended by my infertility doctor who had it done here too. Nothing like having this surgery and by the afternoon, he'll be up and walking around and in a day..be going home.

Although a hospital room in Mexico is interesting. Wish I knew some Espanol :) THink I will venture across the street and go shopping.

I guess not!

So much for end of tunnel. I took Makenzie back to the dr today and she has croup. Ugh. She's now on Steroids, Benadryl and Antibiotics. You would think that she would get some sleep - NOT!

end of the tunnel...?

I'm hoping there's health and fun at the end of this tunnel. Cabin vacation was NOT a vacation. Daughter screamed the entire weekend. Literally! The 3 hour drive home was pure hell for me and my mom. She screamed the ENTIRE way. I actually cried when I got home because I was so happy to be home.

Makenzie is sick. So basically I sit around all day and hold her.

My sister was in the hospital and had surgery.

I had to take my pottery project home because I don't have enough time at school to finish it.

My house that we moved into 2 months ago still has some boxes that are unpacked.

Trish..I do have pics of the house, but it might be another week before I can post them. :)

a promise

I know, many of you have asked for pics of our new house. I will - I promise. Right now though, the front room still is in boxes and junk we need to get rid of. Oh and on top of that...we have my brother in law staying with us for just over a week. So, right now - it's a mess. I promise,,, give me a few more weeks to get pics on.

Got rolls!

I do. Well yes, that's true...but so does Makenzie. I guess like mother, like daughter :)
This was taken just before we moved from that house. Needless to say that she's outgrown her swimsuit. Good thing she has 3 others. Little babies swimsuits are just too irresistable.

Portland trip (from JULY!)

Never too late, huh... :)

We loved our trip to Portland, Oregon. I wish it would have rained while we were there.

We stayed on the 16th floor of the Westin in downtown Portland and walked to everything.
We traveled the coast (Seaside, Tillamook, Arch Cape, Cannon Beach)
We went to the Japanese Gardens and the Chinese Gardens
We went to the Portland Zoo
We ate at Voodoo Doughnuts (ABSOLUTELY YUMMY!!!!!!)
We we went to some waterfalls (Multnomah)
We drove into Vancouver, Washington

YUCK! I hate photo's of myself. But this was a beautiful spot along the road.

This was taken at the Japanese Gardens. It was a very hot day there (for Portland standards). Thus, my hair is a little damp from sweating. Oh, and Makenzie slept through the whole thing. Which made it difficult because the gardens weren't stoller accessible (lots, LOTS of steps and small paths).

This is the beautiful view from the Japanese Gardens. If you look closely, you can see Mount Hood in the back (covered in snow).

William and Makenzie at the Chinese Gardens. The gardens are right in downtown Portland.

bear with me..

I know, I know... I haven't posted a picture in a LONG time. I do have good reasons though!

WE'RE MOVING!

So with that said, our house will be packed up (including computers). I will post next week when we're in our new pad. We're soooooo excited to be going to a one story house. I hate going up and down stairs.

However, I will miss the stairs because it's what Makenzie loves to climb.

We're back!

We just returned from a week vacation to Portland, Oregon. It was a nice get a way. It's late. I'll have great pictures when I've had some sleep and this house doesn't look like luggage exploded in my kitchen.
